Corn is now a couple feet high and doing very well! This is the first time I've really tried to grow any type of corn so it's great to see it actually coming up. Will need to stake these pretty soon so that a summer storm doesn't knock them all down.

Picked up a little bit of new equipment this week as well. First of all this tiered container unit that I think I'm going to try to put some herbs or maybe strawberries in. Just let them cascade down the sides with their runners perhaps. Curious to see how the positioning affects growth and whether I'll need to turn it occasionally so that all sides get a relatively even amount of sunlight.

These are simply some grow bags that I picked up. They're nice because of how light and inexpensive they are compared to regular containers. Will likely try to grow some potatoes in these just to test them out.

Finally I purchased some more flowers for decorative and pollination purposes and I really love the color on these. Once again I've already forgotten what type they are so I'll need to be a little more careful about writing down my purchases next year so that I can make sure to get a few things I like and that have done well in my particular setup.
